　　As the backbone of the space infrastructure, satellites play an indispensable role in exploring and understanding space, providing communication and navigation services, and carrying out scientific and technological research. The accuracy of satellite shell thickness measurement is closely related to the safety and stability of space infrastructure, and has always been one of the key indicators to measure the performance of satellite shell manufacturing equipment. In recent years, with the continuous development of space technology and the application of new materials, the accuracy requirements of satellite shell thickness measurement have become more and more stringent, and the technology of thickness measurement has become more and more mature. In this paper, the development of satellite shell thickness measurement technology is summarized from three aspects: online measurement technology, offline measurement technology and non-destructive testing technology.
